WHO IS SPIDERMAN SE?
Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management is an environmentally-friendly pest control, termite management and inspection business servicing the South East of SA and South West of VIC, including the Green Triangle and Limestone Coast regions.
Established in Mount Gambier in October 2014, we've built our small business from the ground up. Our brand, our people, our character and our reputation mean everything to us. We pride ourselves on being an un-franchised, local, family-owned business; providing top quality service with attention to detail and a genuine, friendly approach.
Our pest management technicians are locals; they live here, they know our local area and our local conditions. They are fully qualified, licensed and insured and between them, have many years of experience in the pest control industry. They understand pest behaviour, know which products are safe to use within homes, commercial and food premises and they are technically skilled in offering suggestions on how to prevent further pest problems.
At Spiderman SE, we're saving the world, one pest at a time.

Since opening our doors, Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management has developed and grown, mostly because of our exceptional team. We're proud of our staffs’ abilities to contribute their unique experience and skills to our continuing success.

MICHAEL CUTTING
DIRECTOR,
PEST MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN,
TIMBER PEST INSPECTOR
Michael is Mount Gambier born and bred. In 2013 Michael took a leap of faith to leave his 20-year occupation as an analyst at our local Carter Holt Harvey dry mill and forge a career in the world of pest management and business-ownership.
Michael's always been a people-person and with his love of a friendly banter, his incredible work ethic and passion for customer service, he has been integral in delivering on our mission to provide the best service in the industry.
Michael is fully qualified and licensed to manage both General and Timber Pests in SA and VIC and has been added to the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA) Timber Pest Inspectors Register.
You'll catch Michael out on the road in the SPIDR9 Spiderman SE ute.

SARAH CUTTING

PEST MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN,
TRAINEE TIMBER PEST INSPECTOR
Also born and raised in Mount Gambier, Sarah (Michael's wife) works from the home/office in Mount Gambier and manages the operational side of Spiderman SE.
Professionalism to a tee, great creativity and never without a smile, Sarah’s high standards and attention to detail are true assets to the Spiderman SE team (but sometimes drive the boys nuts!).
Sarah holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration, is a fully qualified Pest Management Technician (excluding Timber Pests) and continues to study her Certificate III in Urban Pest Management.

TRAINEE TIMBER PEST INSPECTOR
In June 2020, we welcomed young gun, Sam Shaw to the Spiderman SE team! With his huge smile and outgoing nature, we’re certain you’ll enjoy a chat and a laugh with Sam as much as Michael and Sarah do!
Born and raised in Mount Gambier, Sam quickly proved he is a perfect fit in keeping with Spiderman SE’s mission, values and standards. Having been in the workforce since his teens, Sam’s work ethic, initiative and drive are outstanding and have been evident from his first day on the job.
Sam is a fully qualified Beekeeper and Pest Management Technician (excluding Timber Pests) and continues to study his Certificate III in Urban Pest Management.
You'll catch Sam out and about providing General Pest services in his SPIDR7 Spiderman SE ute.

KODY SHAW
TRAINEE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT,
TRAINEE PEST MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN
We are absolutely chuffed to have Kody Shaw join the Spiderman SE Family.
Kody started working with us full-time in January 2022 after participating in work experience with us in 2021. It didn't take long for Kody to show us that his personality, work ethic and performance are exactly the type of traits we value and we are so proud to introduce him to you.
Kody has a dual role at Spiderman SE and is undertaking a Certificate III in Business Traineeship, while also working towards becoming a qualified General Pest Management Technician.
You'll either find Kody in the office with Sarah playing Tetris with Sam and Michael's schedules or see him out on the field riding shotgun with Michael in the SPIDR9 Spiderman SE ute.

OUR ENVIRONMENT
At Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management, we don't just talk the talk! We're Eco by name, Eco by nature!
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
At Spiderman SE, we are 100% committed to providing our clients with the most effective treatment possible while at the same time ensuring the safety of our environment.
There are so many environmental benefits of the products and application methods we use at Spiderman SE, but here are just a few:
-
Spiderman SE technicians apply our surface sprays using hand-pumped backpacks. This method ensures peace and quiet and requires no fuels or emission-producing power sources. We don't use smelly, noisy generators or bring messy hoses through your property.
-
Our surface sprays are 100% safe, biodegradable and they dry completely clear. They are non-irritant and don’t smell.
-
We never use fumigants or use gasses in our treatments.
-
The products we spray go exactly where they're meant to go! We will absolutely not leave run-off streaming down your walls, paths, drains etc.
-
The Spiderman SE team acknowledges just how essential honey bees are to our environment. If you have a swarm or hive of honey bees at your property and you need them gone, we would prefer that you contact a local apiarist (beekeeper) to see if they can remove the hive or relocate the swarm to their own hives.
In addition to our treatments, our office is also keeping with our eco-friendly business model. As of March 2017, the majority of our operational systems at Spiderman SE are paper-free. The adoption of a brand new software application means that we're electronic all the way!
All of our record-keeping is online and written correspondence with clients (apart from those few that still prefer a snail mail) is via email and text. The adoption of this new system has seen a massive reduction in the use and waste of paper at Spiderman SE and has resulted in more efficient administration and a much better experience for our clients.
OUR COMMUNITY
At Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management, we like to keep it local. The Green Triangle and Limestone Coast is our home and supporting community events, clubs and organisations is important to us! In addition, there are a few National and International charities that we are proud to contribute to.
