The Beginning
Swarm SE Eco Bee Management grew out of Spiderman SE Eco Pest Management for one simple reason: bees deserve better - and so does our community. Too often, nuisance colonies were destroyed when rescue or rehoming was possible. We combined our qualifications as licensed pest management technicians and trained beekeepers to give South Australians a better way.
Why We’re Different
Our first instinct is always to rescue, rehome, and prevent. We balance people’s safety with bee welfare, and we manage outcomes with care:
- Rescue & relocation when viable, followed by practical prevention advice.
- Responsible euthanasia only when rescue isn’t possible - performed by licensed professionals, with guidance to remove comb and repair cavities to prevent slime-out and future swarms.
- Biosecurity-sound management - hive health, disease awareness, and swarming control baked into everything we do.
